| Documentation - Setup |
After you signed up, you will receive an email with a confirmation code
which needs to be entered in a confirmation page to activate your account. You get here by clicking the link in the registration email
you just received, or copy and paste the code out of that email and enter it in the field that you will see after
signing up. Now you can log in and choose one of the options
in the menu. You can setup a form, edit existing forms or edit your account settings. Here is an explanation of the options.
- New form
- Make form
- You enter a name of a form you want to add and then you click on "Make Form".
You will get a list with 3 steps to setup your just created form. You also have a checkbox option, if checked,
you also receive these steps by email.
Step 1: copy and paste a form tag in your form. If you upload
your page, open it in a browser and click the submit button, step 2, our program retrieves all your form fields and form
location and will display this to you. You now only have to enter your username and the program will save all the information.
If you login to your account you can setup the rest of the form properties like validation, send-to email address and redirection URL.
- Edit/delete form
- Before you get to the edit functions below you have to choose one of your forms. You can do that in this
part of the menu. You can also delete a form here
- Add/edit/delete form fields or validations
- With this option you can change, add or delete field names if you changed something in your form.
So even after setting up your form initially you can change your form. The only thing you need
to do is log in and change a few options here.
In this part of the menu you can also change the validation type for every field.
- Edit send-to email address
- For every form you set up you can set a different email address to which you would like a
form entry to be send. Of course you can change this address as often as you want for every form
- Edit redirection address
- Here you can enter the URL (including http://) where you want to user to be redirected to
after pressing the submit button (provided the user didn't get a validation error which would
lead him back to your form to make a correction)
- Edit form location
- This is the location of your form. This needs to be exact because the script compares this
address to the address where the request came from. This to make sure it's really your form that
gets validated
- View form ID
- Maybe, for whatever reason, you need to see again what the form tag for your form should be.
You can see that tag by clicking this link
- Account
- Change email address
- Although you can set a different email address for every form you have, there is one address
connected to your account. You can change that address on this page
- Change password
- This one is pretty easy. You can change your account password here
- Cancel account
- And finally, if you ever want to cancel your account, you can do it here. Everything will
be deleted, so be really sure before clicking. If you want to delete a form, you can do it at
the edit page
